The iconic Elephant Bridge Hotel is a charming bluestone inn, where history is fused with warmth in a relaxed and welcoming space. The hotel is situated in a picturesque rural landscape alongside Mount Emu Creek. The oldest parts of the building date to 1842, with the Elephant Bridge laying claim to being one of Victoria’s oldest continuously licensed venues. Along with the hotel’s public bar, cafe and restaurant there is an abundance of outdoor seating in and amongst the beautiful rolling grounds.

The location of the Elephant Bridge is central to the world’s third-largest volcanic plain, with its many captivating scenic lakes and craters. For travellers, the Elephant Bridge is en route from Melbourne to the Great Ocean Road, Otway Gourmet Trail and the popular Halls Gap and Grampian Wine Region.

 

The Elephant Bridge Hotel welcomes all, and with a children’s playground within the grounds, along with live music. The Elephant Bridge will continue to provide a welcome retreat for locals, travellers and families alike, with fee camping opposite the Hotel on Nugget's Flat, overlooking the Emu Creek.
